Academie Garnet aims to:

Helen Lovass is a highly experienced professional educator with a common sense approach to learning practical skills and theoretical study

The Academie specialises in individual tuition in Pianoforte, Singing, Diploma studies,

Music Theory, History, Analysis and Personal, Career & Voice counselling.

Helen’s career has embraced:  

• 22 years as Director of Music at St Catherine’s School, Toorak;

• Lead classroom positions with the Education Department, Victoria;

• Level Co-ordinator, Senior School Classroom, Choral and specialist music teaching at Methodist Ladies College, Kew;

• Chairman of Examiners for VCE Music;

• Examiner for VCE Music;

• Chairman of Music assessment committees;

• Pianoforte Examiner AMEB Victoria;

• Scholarship assessment and adjudication;

• Orchestral and Choral Director and Conductor;

• Studio recording and audio production; 

• Management, Counselling and organizational skills and guidance;

• Performances in Australia and Internationally
